The Dreaded Japanese Beetles are Back!
Japanese Beetles arrived in Iowa in 1994 and have been causing damage to our trees, shrubs, and perennials ever since. The good news is, though the damage caused by the Beetles is unsightly, it usually doesn’t kill the plant.
Here are some pointers from the Iowa State Extension Office for dealing with Japanese Beetles.
